Youth of Dramapur came from behind to defeat Bandfol Sports Club 3-2 to cruise into the finals of Sucaldem Cup football tournament organised by Sucaldem Youth Club at Sucaldem ground, Chinchinim, Monday. Dramapur were trailing 0-1 at half time.
Bandfol were the first to settle down and created meaningful forays into the rival territory and their persistent forays paid off when Jetendra Bhise slotted past the rival keeper with a snap shot.
Crossing over, Dramapur were a transformed side and created ripples inside the rival territory. Franky Oliveira was a thorn in the rival defence and neutralised the lead with a blistering volley. The equaliser spurred the winner as they mounted pressure on the rival citadel and Bandfol fell again when Franky struck a second time to complete his brace.
Clayan put the issue beyond doubt when he bulged the net after receiving a pass from Franky. Yamuni managed to reduce the margin at the fag end. Yesterday, Santa Cruz Club of Tolleband defeated Naranpoi 2-0 to enter the semi-finals.
