St Peter Boys, Tivai Vaddo defeated Valankanni Boys, Saligao 2-0 to win the 1st All-Goa 7-a-side soccer tournament organised by Queen Valankanni Boys, Calangute, recently. St Peter Boys were richer by Rs 10,000 while Valankanni Boys had to be content with Rs 7,000 alongwith trophies. Following individual prizes were awarded: Highest goal scorer of the tournament Francis Coutinho (St Peter). Best player of the tournament Stanley Fernandes (Valankanni). Disciplined team Dam Dhoom, Valpoi.
Vijay Chaturvedi, care taker, Hotel Neelam the Grand, Calangute was the chief guest and gave away the prizes.
