PANJIM: Steffi Cardoso won the bronze in shot put at the National Games in Ranchi on Thursday. Goa bagged yet another bronze with Talasha Prabhu being the medal winner in 50m butterfly stroke. The toal number of medals won by Goa has gone to 10 in all.
Candolim’s Steffi, who is with the SAG, had a throw of 13.89 metres. This is the first medal in athletics at the Games.
Goa drew with Punjab 1-1 in the football championship with Agostinho being the scorer. Delhi drew with Jharkhand in the other match.
