Dempo Confident of securing full points

Dempo Sports Club are confident of securing full points from their concluding match of 4th I-League against HAL, Bangalore at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda, Wednesday.  Dempo, buoyed by their flawless 14-0 win over Air India are determined to put across minnow HAL to secure the runners-up spot.
“Having surrendered our title to Salgaocar Sports Club, we know what our priorities are. We have to win three points to end this season on a triumphant note. I have asked my boys to enjoy the game. HAL have not been faring well and are low in confidence, but we cannot afford to relax. We have to work hard,” stated Armando Colaco.
Dempo occupy the second spot with 50 points from 25 matches while HAL are at the bottom with 21 points from the same number of encounters.
HAL team manager M Muralidharan also sounded optimistic as well.
“The home team is a good side but we will play our normal game and work hard to win. We have been playing well but later seem to lose focus and concentration,” Muralidharan concluded. - Sent by DLP
