Vasco loses 1-3 to Royal Wahingdoh

PANJIM: Goan qualifiers Sesa Football Academy and Vasco Sports Club had an off-day in the Second Division I-League group ties with Sesa being held to a goalless draw by Malabar United and Vasco suffering a 1-3 loss to Royal Wahingdoh, Thursday.
In a Group B encounter played at JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, Sesa Football Academy had to settle for a goalless draw. In the same group, Kenkre FC lost to Ar-Hima Football Club 1-4. In Group C, Vasco SC were beaten 1-3 by Royal Wahingdoh at Race Course Stadium, Madurai, Tamil Nadu. It was Koko Sakibu who fired the opening salvo for Vasco in the 50th minute but the Goan outfit failed to capitalize on the good work and conceded three goals in the remainder of the match to PH Boy Singh (60th), Henry Ndupirm (65th) and Jacky Chand Singh (90+4’) to face defeat.
