PANJIM: SWC Zaino, Velim defeated Cuncolim Union 5-3 via the tie-breaker to enter the semi-finals of SWC Zaino Cup football tournament at Zaino grounds, Velim on Tuesday.
There was no score at half time, while at full time both teams were locked 1-1. Cuncolim scored first through Rosario Carvalho while Zaino equalised through Samson Fernandes. In the tie-breaker, Premson Fernandes, Romeo Fernandes, Rexon Fernandes, Joseph Pinto were on target for Zaino while Rayan Colaco, Rosario Carvalho converted for Cuncolim.
